Ava is not a very confident person, she worries like crazy and is too shy to stand up for herself. Her paranoia is a little insane sometimes. It's not so much with ghosts and spirits, because she knows they exist, it's more that she's nervous things aren't going to turn out the right way. If, on the rare occasion, she does something wrong, Ava has been known to get herself sick worrying over whether or not she's going to get caught. She is definitely a worst case scenario kind of girl.
Just because she's a bit shy doesn't mean that Ava isn't impatient, stubborn, and controlling at times. If she gets an idea in her head, she wants to have it done as soon as possible, she can't just "go with the flow." Although she may have a hard time saying "no" to others, they will most likely have a hard time saying it to her as well. It's easy for her to manipulate with her words. Being in control of her life is important to Ava, but she does it more behind the scenes. She wont go screaming in a persons face if they do something wrong, she'll plan something sneaky behind their back. She likes to be in control of what she does because if she's not, she's afraid that things will go wrong.
Even if she doesn't realize it sometimes, Ava is a pretty flirty person. When she talks to a boy, it's like her body immediately responds to it. Making her give off hair flips and touching the guy's arm ever so lightly. It comes as easy to her as breathing and sometimes, she can get herself in to trouble because of it. She's just all about having fun though. As long as she's having a good time, she's happy.

mirror of eriseds , Just like every other girl, Ava wants to fall in love and start a family. She would also like to become a healer, because she wants to feel like she's needed by helping others. As cheesy as it may seem, her biggest wish is to simply be happy, even through the tough times.
boggarts , Although there are many things to be fearful of, Ava's biggest fear is snakes. Little snakes, big snakes. It doesn't matter, she is terrified of them all. When she was younger, an older boy in her neighborhood had a thing for catching snakes. Because she wanted to fit in, Ava would tag along. On one visit, the boy in her neighbor had brought one of his friends along. The friend had thought it would be funny to put one of the snakes they caught into Ava's hair. At this time, she hadn't known just how to tame her curly hair so the snake got wrapped up in it easily. It was absolutely terrifying, especially since the boys told her that it was a poisonous snake, she had thought she was going to die. The neighborhood boy found the snake pretty quickly, but had to rip out some of her hair in the process. Ava ran home crying. It was the worst experience of her life.
flaws , Her self confidence is horrible, she thought that she would grow out of it but that has yet to happen. She lets people walk all over her because she has a really hard time standing up for herself. At the age of twenty two, Ava has never had a real relationship, she doesn't really know what to do around guys. She's pretty awkward.

Ava is the second born child to Wesley and Lillian Strang. She was the little girl that her mum always wanted and because of this, she was a little bit spoiled. Unfortunately for her mum, Ava wasn't exactly into the whole "being a girl" thing. Her brother, Carter, was only two years older than her and Ava wanted to be just like him. She always tried to hang out with him, play sports like him, and once, she even cut her own hair to try and look just like him. He was her role model. He was confident and happy and she was just a shy, curly haired girl that was a lot taller than any boys that she had ever met.
When Carter left for Hogwarts, she didn't know what to do with her days. Because she was only nine years old, her mum would would set up play dates for her still. None of them worked out, so she just ended up hanging out with the boy next door. Since he was only a year older than her, he had yet to go to Hogwarts. Unfortunately, some bad things happened once while they were hanging out. This resulted in Ava's second horrible hair cut. After that, she pretty much stuck to the indoors until she received her Hogwarts letter. She was ecstatic, she would finally get to spend her days with her brother again, just like when she was little. Getting on to the train for Hogwarts for the first time was one of the best feelings in the world for her.
Then though, things started to go down hill. Carter had made other friends in his two years at Hogwarts and no matter how hard he tried to help his sister fit in, he didn't like staying inside and playing games with her all day long. Ava was kind of on her own and no matter how hard it was, she did adjust pretty well. She made as many friends as she needed and even met a few boys that she liked. Nothing went past a small kiss or a little bit of making out, though. Looking back on her Hogwarts years, she did have to smile. She smiled simply because she had learned to fit in by herself, without anybody's help.
The wizarding world got darker while she attended school. People were beginning to pick sides, the whole situation confused Ava. She was an innocent girl, she didn't want to make anyone angry so she tried to stay out of it all. It wasn't so easy though. When conversations got brought up about what side a person was on, Ava would leave the room, no matter where she was. She was scared, if she said the wrong thing, she didn't want to get hurt or even worse, killed.
After Hogwarts, Ava grew up a little bit. She was on her own now and knew that she needed to start a life for herself. During this time, she still tried her best to keep herself out of the current affairs going on in the wizarding world. She got a house and began planning her future. At twenty two, she still doesn't have everything figured out. Currently she's training to become a healer, but that's about all she's got. Although she may not have been caring about the current events in the world of wizardry, she was getting a strong feeling that soon, all of her not caring is going to have a negative influence on her life.
