personality , Aedan has that kind of personality that is hard to like. If you're not one of his closest friends. He's often described as being a bit too feminine for his own good, which might be because he was raised in a manor full of women since his father was rarely present in his life. He can be rather prissy about his appearance, spending more time on it than most of his female friends. Likewise, he's very arrogant about his looks, as well and if he feels someone is uglier than him, he won't be afraid to say it. So, most people find it better not to ask him for his opinion on such matters. Coming from a very well to do Pureblood family, Aedan's parents have high expectations of him and he strives to meet them. If he's failing a class, he won't hesitate to pay a Ravenclaw student to do his work. He's ambitious, sure, but he's also manipulative.

His sense of loyalty is rather low, but that isn't to say that he doesn't have one. Having just a small circle of close friends, Aedan is only loyal to those that he feels very close to. And if he does feel that close to you, he will have your back in any circumstance and wouldn't hesitate to take or- more preferably- give a Crucio for you. Everyone else is disposable, expendable. He uses people to get his way and then once he's had his way, he kicks them out of his life for good. He's a person that likes to talk, as well. For this reason, it's easier for him to keep friends of the female variety than it is of the male. Gossiping is almost second nature for the Wizard.

Despite being quite feminine, Aedan isn't generally a force to be reckoned with. He may not look like much, but he has a mean temper and a lot of energy. Often acting on impulse when he's angry, he won't back down to a challenge and will fight until one or both parties are passed out on the ground. Even if he loses, he refuses to fall until he knows the enemy is seriously injured. Very opinionated, Aedan won't change his opinion for anyone, no matter how hard they convince him to try. Aedan is often said to be someone that 'gets around'. Having been with at least half of the females in his house and many of the males, as well. He's very ambitious, not stopping at nothing until he gets his way. Just as cunning as his father before him, he thrives when he has any kind of power and is quite power hungry. He's a very vengeful Wizard. When you get on his 'bad side', you're there to stay. And you will never forget his name.

boggarts , Aedans biggest literal fear would be water. No one knows why he's hydrophobic, not even himself. He never nearly drowned as a child, never nearly drowned as a teenager, either. Nor was he ever left out in the rain for an extended period of time. For whatever reason, he's terrified of water. (Unless it's the kind that's in a tub or a sink.) He refuses to be out in the rain and won't go anywhere near the lake. His boggart often takes the form of "water".

history , Aedan was born to a certain Abigail and Aldric in the middle of Winter on one of the coldest days of the year. The third and final child of the Blanc's, Aedan was the only son and, therefore, the heir of the Blanc fortune. Both of his parents came from very well off families, his father having inherited the Blanc fortune himself when he was twenty and his mother having been granted a cut of the Doom fortune. Of course, Abigail wasn't an heir, but since she behaved, married well and never disappointed her family, she got her share of the fortune and all was well. Aedan's bloodline is as pure as they come, still, there is veela mixing in his line. His mothers mother had been a veela, his mother had, as well. The veela isn't in the Doom nor the Blanc line, but it is there, making his sisters and mother exceptionally beautiful and he himself isn't anything less than.

Being from a proper pure blood family, Aedan was raised the way any proper pure blood would be. He was raised to have standards and if you don't meet those standards, you weren't allowed to be around him. Both the Blanc's and the Doom's were thought to be Death Eater families in the 80's during the Dark Lords supposed "fall" and both families really were. His parents had been Death Eaters, supporting Voldemort every step of the way and dreaming of being in that 'inner circle'. When Voldemort fell, life continued for them, but that didn't mean they denounced their old ways. They merely waited patiently for the Dark Lord to rise once more, raising their children to believe the same as them and one day serve him as well. Aedan listened to the lessons without hesitation.

Both of his sisters graduated from Slytherin, eventually marrying into other well to do pureblood families just as their parents wanted them to. The daughters got a cut of the money, of course, but aren't allowed to touch the real fortune which has been promised to Aedan. As long as he "behaved" as well. For this reason, as soon as he started Hogwarts, he made a point to choose his friends carefully and his enemies just as carefully. Likewise, he works his hardest to pass all his classes, even if it means cheating. He certainly isn't above cheating and if that's how he has to pass, he won't hesitate to do so.

Aedan hasn't had a traumatizing life despite the fact that many people try to say he has and that it's the reason for his often times "impulsive" behavior. Neither of his parents ever abused him and though his father was never around, he wouldn't describe himself as neglected. He has always been very spoiled, actually. Now that he's reached his seventh year, he's been thinking more and more about his future. Owning the line of Blanc stores isn't enough for the Wizard, he'd like an important job in the Ministry or something such as. Despite the fact that he can often times still act rather young, he's aware that his future is right around the corner and refuses to put it at stake.
