Riley is a fun loving girl. She loves to have a good time and just having fun all the time. She is the girl that you always find smiling. She prefers to think positive and to look at the good side of things. She also tries to get her friends to do the same. She knows that life is too short and that you need to make the best of it, by trying to enjoy every moment of it.
Riley is extremely friendly, and can make friends easily. She is also very loyal to her friends as well. If they need any help, she will be right there to help them. She would also risk her own life for them. She wants the best for her friends, and wants them to be happy. So she will do whatever she can to make sure they are safe and happy.
Though Riley may seem happy all the time, she does get down. She hates to cry in front of others, and doesn't like people to see her when she is upset. She has a lot of nightmares at night, mostly about her parents accident, and she will wake up crying most of the time. She doesn't like talking about it, mostly cause she will break down into tears. Riley can be mean as well, she just doesn't like being it, but if someone irritates her or pushes her too far she will snap on them. And when she snaps, she can be quite catty.

Many people have said that highschool relationships never last, though many people try to beat the odds, but never win. Though some how Cody and Max did. They were highschool sweet hearts, an odd couple, but they were happy together. Many said their relationship wouldn't last, because of how different they were, and the fact that they were going to continue on with their educations at different schools. Their relationship was constantly on and off, but once they got into their careers and things just seemed to begin to fall together for them. They decided to get married, and not long after that, Cody was expecting their first child.
On April 26, a cloudy spring day, Cody gave birth to a baby girl, Riley Faith Fletcher. As Riley grew, Cody and Max noticed that she was quite adventurous and a troublemaker. When she was four, she was determined to get the cookies from the cookie jar and tired everything to get to them. She eventually succeded, but her parents weren't too pleased. They learned to keep an eye on her, no matter where they went. Riley continued to grow, and became more and more adventurous. She would spend as much time as possible outside, playing, climbing trees, or just watching the clouds float by. She loved having the feeling that she was free, that nothing could stop her or get in her way while she was outside. Sometimes her parents had to drag her inside to eat dinner or go to bed, but they liked the fact that she wasn't like the other kids, that just sat around and watch tv and do nothing.
Not long after Riley turned eleven, she recieved a letter from Hogwarts. She didn't know what exactly it meant. Her parents were confused as well. Riley had only dreamed about witches and wizards, but never thought it was actually real. It took some time and getting used to, but Riley's parents agreed for her to go. They had also told her about some of the strange things that had happened around the house, that they have noticed the past few years. Riley thought it was just her that noticed these weird things, but knowing that she was a witch seemed to have explained everything.
Riley wasn't sure what to expect on her first day at Hogwarts. Just by sitting in the train, she had met many interesting people. She was excited about this new adventure, and to be able to learn about this whole different world. It took some time for Riley to get use to everything, but eventually she caught on and began to do well. She loved being at Hogwarts, and was sad when the year end. She went back home for the summer, though reading things about the wizarding world, and keeping in touch with her friends. She told her parents about how it was like at Hogwarts, and they were glad that she enjoyed it there.
The summer came to an end, and Riley was back at Hogwarts for her second year. She was determind now to do better in school, to learn as much as she could, and find some secret places that were hidden at Hogwarts and the grounds. When she was just going into her third month of schooling at Hogwarts, a Professor came to her Charms class, asking to speak with her. Everyone thought she was in trouble, laughing and giggling about it, wondering what she could have done. They walked down the corridor together, as the Professor seemed to dance around the reason why she was there. When it couldn't be avoided any longer, the Professor told her that thy had just recieved word that her parents were killed in a car crash. Riley could feel her world just crashing down. It felt like a building had collapsed on her. Tears began to roll down her cheeks, as she began to process everything. She thought this was all a horrible dream, but the look on the Professor's face told her it was all too real. Riley ended up collapsing on the floor, sobbing.
The next few weeks, Riley fell into a depression. She spent most of her time in her room just laying on her bed or wandering the grounds on her own. She became very distant from everyone. Many tried to comfort her, but she just ignor them and walk away. She just wanted to be on her own. Eventually Riley did snap out of it. She was still sad and missed her parents, but she knew they wouldn't want her to become like that. They would want her to be happy and enjoy her life, and not to spend the rest of it sulking. It took a bit of time, but she eventually went back to normal and was even more high spirited. When the summer came, she spent it with some friends, because she didn't have any other family to stay with. As years went on, she would spend her summer at the Hog's Head, and would work to save up some money for when she finished school, and to spend over the summer.
When Riley turned fifteen, she noticed there was something strange about her. Something was different, but she couldn't figure out what. The year went by, and she continued to have these weird feelings. Not long after her sixteenth birthday she figured out what was going on. She was out in the forbidden forest, at night, just walking around, until she heard a noise. It made her jump and she called out asking if anyone was there, but there was no reply. Riley didn't like what was going on and thought it would be best just to head back to the school. As she began to move, she heard the noise again and it was following her. Without looking back she broke into a run, and she knew the thing was chasing her. Quickly, she jumped up towards a branch and climbed up the tree, so she was far from the ground. When she looked down, she couldn't see what had been chasing her. Though as she looked down, she noticed a black paw in front of her. She realized that black paw was her's, and that she was covered in black fur. She even had a tail! Quickly Riley climbed back down and raced out of the forest. She went over by the lake a looked at her reflection, and in it was a black panther with bright blue eyes looking back at her. Apparently, when she jumped up towards the tree, she had transformed. She wondered how she managed to get up the tree so quickly. Once Riley calmed down, she turned back into a human. She never told anyone what had happened, though she wondered herself how she managed to change. So every once in a while she would go out to the Forbidden forest to practise and figure out what had spark her transformation.
