It was nearly eleven thirty when Timmy started to venture outside. As he walked up from the common room he noticed that there were not that many people out. He would pass the occasional group of kids heading back to the common room. Most kids were in their common rooms, if not already in bed they were probably settling down for the night. A few brave students were out wandering the castle, some to go steal a little snack, others were most likely on mission like Timmy. He had given a note to Alistrina during potions class nearly the same time that she had given him one. They both said nearly the same thing, "Meet me by the lake at midnight so we can talk." Timmy had no clue what he wanted to talk about he just hadn't seen her in awhile and really want to. Plus when ever they did see each other they were in large groups he wanted some one on one time with Alistrina.
Timmy was walking up the dungeon stairs wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, a green t-shirt, a gray zip up sweatshirt and a pair of gray and green shoes. He had his wand in his right hand just in case one of the other Slytherins tried to start a fight with him. Even though most of them were scared of him he was still going to be prepared to stand his ground. He wasn’t really wanted to see any other Slytherins, out but he knew he would end up seeing one or two. Timmy was hoping that Alistrina wouldn't chicken out, he was hoping to tell her one thing tonight. But he wasn't sure if he would be rejected or not, or if she felt the same way. But, he was going to find out. So, heres the deal Timmy had a bit of a crush on Alistrina, but didn't every guy have a crush on one girl. Well, some guys had crushes on more than on girl but, eh, he wasn't a player like them.
As Timmy walked out the front doors to the lake, he noticed the moon shining off the surface of the black lake. It gave the lake a light glowing look. The lake carried small waves which created a nice cool breeze. The ground underneath his feet was soft and a tad bit wet from all the rain the day before. He walked toward the end of the dock to look out at the water, as he approached the dock he noticed that it seemed rather dry. So Timmy sat down and hung his feet off the edge, the rubber on his shoes was barely touching the surface of the water. Timmy figured that it, was around eleven forty-five or so. That meant he would have a little time to sit and think before Alistrina came. He was really wondering what she would say when he told her. What if she brought up the subject before he could, that would make things much easier. He wasn't that big with being all mushy and gushy, so he didn't really know what to do. Timmy looked up at the moon and waited for Alistrina to arrive.

Her stomach was full of nerves as Alistrina made sure to check her hair and how she looked like five times before she was ready to leave. It was funny how Timmy had passed a note to her at the same time and it said the same thing. She did wonder what he wanted to talk about and she hoped it wasn’t about some girl because that would upset her and mess up what she had been rehearsing to say in her head. They had been friends for so long and they knew just about everything about each other. But there had never been much alone time they were always just friends who hung and had fun together. Letting out a sigh she slipped on her robe and started down the stairs and looked around the common room and was happy to not see a lot of people. The last thing she wanted was for questions to be asked or have some nosy busy body follow her. What had to be said was going to be private and hard to get out and she didn’t need anybody running back to run their mouth. As she made her way out of the common room Alistrina was hoping Timmy didn’t chicken out and leave her standing there by the lake.
As soon as the night air hit her face it felt so good it helped calmed the nerves building up in Alistrina’s stomach. She wanted to walk faster to the lake but at the same time she didn’t want to look too eager or worse show up with a smile and have him not be there. She was going to take a great chance at crossing the line of friendship into something else and if this blew up in her face what was strong could fall apart. She had never been nervous or scared of anything in her life but right now there was a small urge to turn back and run to her dorm and hide under the covers. But no she had to do this there was no turning back if she missed this chance there would not be another and he must have wanted to talk to her or else Timmy wouldn’t have passed her a note as well. She had to find out what he wanted even if it wasn’t what she was hoping for. The leaves and sticks on the ground cracked under her feet as she made her way guided by the moonlight closer to the lake.
Then as Alistrina got closer to the lake she saw a figure sitting on the edge of the docks and yes that just had to be him. A smile crept across her face as the nervous young woman mad her way even closer her hands inside the pockets of her robe with her fingers crossed that it was him. The wood of the deck made a slight sound as she stepped onto it and then stopped half way to Timmy. Slowly Alistrina walked over and sat down next to him on the edge of the dock with a nervous smile. “Hey there my friend, ummmmm how are you?”she asked looking over at him. His eyes were looking down at the water as she quickly looked away and a slight silence had started

As Timmy sat on the dock with his feet hanging off he felt as if someone was watching, but he simply ignored the feeling. Then when Alistrina talked Timmy felt better, well he didn’t have the feeling that someone was watching him. When Alistrina seemed like she was situated next to him, he leaned over and gave her a hug. He held on to her for a few seconds then he moved back, and sat up straight again. “I am doing rather well. How are you, Alistrina?” Timmy said, as he looked down at the water. He wanted to just get it over with at this point just blurt out what he wanted to say. But he couldn’t do that he would be turned down maybe if he eased into it. She might understand, and then they could, go out or something if she felt the same way.
Timmy moved his feet back in forth in the water, for a few moments the silence was killing him. So he finally spoke, “So… I wanted to talk to you about something. Well something rather important to me, it’s about this girl.” Timmy paused for a moment he figured if he didn’t say who the girl was he would be able to get what he wanted out. “She is in Slytherin, a 6th year, 16 years old, she is extremely hot and I think I might have fallen in love with her. Or at least I like her a lot,” Timmy wasn’t sure if she felt the same, so he wasn’t going to say her name yet. “I just want her to know that I like her in this way, but I don’t know how to.” Timmy took a deep breath and looked up at the moon; all he was doing was trying to seek some help.
Timmy need to finish what he was saying if he didn’t he would never get it out but how could he continue. He was determined to tell her, he had to just say it, “this girl she has brown hair, the most beautiful smile in the world. She is a rather close friend, of mine” Timmy still wasn’t brave enough to say it was Alistrina but he had to. “Alistrina, this girl is you. If you don’t feel the same way I understand, but I just want to know if there is even a chance. I mean we have been best friends since we were little, we know everything about each other. Just tell me the truth.” Timmy took a breath and looked up at the moon, all he wanted to do right now was run away, far away and never come back.

When Timmy started to talk about this girl and how he was maybe in love with her and how he felt she felt her heart start to sink. This was one of her big fears was that she was called here to help him with yet another girl problem and how she would have to sit there and watch him get hurt or something. As he kept on talking Alistrina was a little scared about looking up at him as she was using all she had not to cry. How would she go on till graduation watching him with another girl smiling and laughing when inside she was ne yelling that is supposed to be me? There was no way she would be able to tell him now why she called him down to the lake she would have to make up some lie because now with him professing his love for another girl what she had to say would look stupid. But if she was his good friend as she had always claimed to be then Alistrina would tell him what he wanted to hear even if it tore her up inside.
Finally she knew she had to look up at him so turning back Alistrina faced Timmy with a fake smile on her face. As he told her what this looked like she played over and over in her head each girl it could have been and everyone on her mind was not good enough for him. Then just as she was about to give her best friends advice he went and said it. This girl he had been talking about this while time was her. This moment right here right now was one of a rare because for a few seconds Alistrina D’Arenberg was speechless. She could not believe the stroke of luck that he felt the same way that he brought her here for the same reasons she brought him to the lake. The nerves in her stomach were now replaced by a rapid beating heart that was happy as anything right now. Scooting closer to Timmy she fought the urge to hug him and yes even kiss him but yeah not yet. Just the thought of that made her start to get those butterflies again. But now she knew that maybe they were meant to be.
“Oh wow Timmy first of all you just made me speechless for a few moments. Second of all now I feel much better because well………….I brought you here to tell you the same thing.”She said as her smile got a little bigger and a littler brighter and bigger. “I feel the same way Timmy. I have had feelings for you for so long and I have never said a word. I was scared to cross that line and tell you the truth. I have wanted to be that one on your arm for so long. Alistrina as she fought the urge to reach for his hand.

Timmy noticed that Alistrina, scooted toward him. He didn’t know what to do which was rather rare with Timmy. He always knew what do, when it came to girls but I guess he didn’t anymore. Or at least not with this girl, Timmy decided to just go with the flow see where things lead. He lay down on the dock and pulled Alistrina down with him. He looked over at her, and said “So, I guess this means we are going out.” He laid there hoping she would snuggle into him; he wasn’t going to pull her close to him unless she didn’t. He could tell she was nervous, but this was her first boyfriend. Wasn’t it? Timmy hoped that he was, for he didn’t want to have to compare to some other dude. But he was pretty sure he was.
Timmy was rather nervous not the fact that he was going out with her, or that he was alone with her. He was nervous because, he didn’t want to hurt her. He had hurt so many girls before, and if he hurt Alistrina he would probably… Well he didn’t want to think about that at the moment. Timmy laid there for a while and was getting pretty bored, and he didn’t really like the awkward silence. So he decided to make a move well yes, but no. He pulled Alistrina close, and wrapped his arms around her. He didn’t want to kiss her at all for he feared he would be taking things way to fast.
Timmy looked at Alistrina, she was so beautiful, and why had he wasted so much time on these other girls. He had truly always liked this one but he was just afraid. Well, that is the easiest way to put it. Timmy laid there with his girl in his arms, he loved the fact that they were dating. He was very tempted to kiss her on the forehead, but he didn’t know how she would react, what would she do. So he decided to talk to her, maybe she knew what to do? “So Alistrina, what do you want to do? It’s completely up to you.” He said, he was going to say baby instead of Alistrina but he figured that she would think he was going way to fast.

Her eyes followed Timmy as he lay down on the dock and looked up to the stars. The evening was silent and still leaving the silence between them making Alistrina feel a little weird. He so liked her and she had liked Timmy for so long that without the words even being said they had become Hogwarts newest couple. But now there was no turning back they were no longer just friends they were boyfriend and girlfriend two people about to start a new chapter in their lives that they both hoped had a happy ending. Despite what most people thought this would be her first real relationship. Sure she had been on a date or two with some guys but it never went beyond that none of them had ever had the connection with her that she knew Timmy did. Then as he laid there Alistrina wanted to bad to snuggle up with him but she was not sure if that would be moving too fast or if he even wanted her to be physically that close. But he was so handsome and good looking it make this girl smile to think that he was hers and that now they will both be happy.
A small giggle escaped her lips as Timmy then reached up and pulled her down to lay next to him right there ins his arms. Yes this was a motion telling her that their connection was strong and that she had made the right move in sending him that note earlier in class. She laid her head on his shoulder and smiled.” Yes I guess we are a couple now and Timmy you have made me very happy thanks you.” she told him, as Alistrina knew her time here at Hogwarts would be worth it now and that was hope for her future. And now it was up to her to pick what they wanted to do but she was rather happy right where she was. “Well why don’t we talk for a little I mean we just took a big step here and, I want to enjoy this moment. “she said softly into his ear. They were alone out by the lake nobody to pry or stare it was their moment just for the two of them.

Timmy looked out across the lake as Alistrina spoke, he loved the fact that she really didn't care that he had pulled her into his arms and that they were laying there together. But at the moment he was still getting used to the fact that they were dating. This was going to be one of Timmy's hardest relationships for he wanted it to last a long time but they never did for some reason they never really lasted that long. He wanted this one to be different he was really going to try his all to keep this relationship going, yes it would be hard for he had girls flirting with him all the time and he was a huge flirt but he figured that she would sit by him in their classes and at meals which would help some. But what is he do to when they aren't together? He thought for a moment well I guess I am just going to have to try extremely hard not to cheat on her or flirt with other girls.
Timmy looked down at Alistrina as she suggested that they talk, I guess that will work he thought even though he had other plans in mind but maybe if he did take it slow thing would work out better. Timmy sat there for awhile looking up at the sky then back down to the lake. What to talk about he thought. "So, how long do you think before everyone in the school finds out that we are dating?" Timmy asked. He wasn't that good at talking so this was rather new for him. Timmy moved his right arm around her, so it looked like he was hugging her then he held her left hand. He was hoping that she would turn around and kiss him or something but talking would be better, since she really hadn't had any real boyfriend before this.
Timmy laid there for awhile then he said, "I want to make a promise to you Alistrina. I want to promise you that I wont cheat on you. I really do want this to work out and I know I do have the history of cheating on my girlfriends but I want this to end. I don't ever want to cheat on you." Timmy thought about what he just promised, he realized that it didn't make much since but he figured she would understand what he was saying, He wanted to promise her that he wouldn't flirt with other girls, but he figured that would be somewhat impossible since he did that all the time. But honesty he was going to try his hardest not to. He just didn't want to promise that and then let her down. he had let many girls down before but he was going to stick to his promise. "So what do you want to talk about?" Timmy asked realizing that he really hadn't thought of any good subjects.

As she laid there in the arms of the one guy she had always wanted Alistrina did worry about one big thing. Timmy as most girls knew was a very big flirt and he had no shortage of girls wanting to be with him or near him. Even in their own house there would be nights when she came to the common room and there he sat on the couch or a chair with a gaggle of girls hanging on his every word. Being his friend for so long she knew what he was like and knew what she was getting into and did not bother Alistrina. Yes there would be flirting maybe giving a girl a look but now she knew where his heart lie and who it belonged to so she was not too worried. But still that little bit of worry would be there .But she would give Timmy the benefit of the doubt and trust him she knew he would not break her heart because if he did it would also break their friendship.
“The way rumors run around this school and mostly through our own house I say by morning when we wake up we will be bombarded with questions. But I don’t care let them talk and whisper. I am truly happy now and nobody can take that away from me. ”She told him. Her smile got a little bigger as he wrapped one arm around her and held her hand with the other. This moment seemed so romantic to Alistrina so perfect. Yes they were breaking rules by being out so late but being a prefect what was she going to do yell at herself? It meant a lot to her still that promise he made so she leaned into him slowly and placed a soft kiss upon his lips and she lingered there for a second then pulled back. “This whole relationship thing is new to me so if I seem a little silly or do something wrong all I ask is don’t laugh at me please. I will now make a promise to you and that is I will do my best to make you happy.” she said as Alistrina playfully messed with Timmy’s hair.
